CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS

New build to passivhaus design standards. 6DC responsible for the structural design up to second floor responsible for foundations, ICF external walls, masonry internal walls, structural steel work to support floors. Project required detailed coordination with external parties with the roof and 2nd floor structure designed by Sips Eco Panels. Architect for the project was Arkiplan.

Extension / loft conversion increasing 1st floor footprint.  New roof with increased ridge height to existing side extension including new rear dormer. New dormer window to front elevation to extend family bathroom. 6DC provided the structural design for building control. This project was in collaboration with Don Hobson Architect.
